Is the crack necessary?

A lot of times when we perform a spinal manipulation or chiropractic adjustment there is no audible noise.We often hear from the patient, “I did not hear anything, did it move?”

The answer is that something did happen. We put an impulse that affects the nervous system as well as the muscles, tendons and ligaments.

The audible crack has been taught as the only thing that matters. Just performing the adjustment makes changes that we are going for.
